• Partner with Airbnb product teams to understand their pain points, pilot proposed solutions, and drive adoption of paved-path tooling and frameworks. • Work closely with Android and iOS engineers on the team to develop foundational, cross-platform solutions. • Collaborate with a wide variety of infrastructure teams as well as support product foundation teams as they build additional capabilities on top of the team’s offerings. • Participate in all phases of software development from architecture/design through implementation, testing, and on-call.

• Design, develop, and maintain user facing product features while ensuring performance, security, and scalability of our systems. • Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, data scientists and other engineers to deliver high-quality products. • Contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch. You’ll be reviewing code and design docs, giving feedback on product specs and mocks. • Set and define standards that improve developer workflows, recommend best practices, and help coach and mentor engineers on the team to further their professional development. • Continuously learn and improve your technical and non-technical abilities.

• Act as the front end technical lead for cross-functional, agile teams building high-impact web applications. • Drive architecture decisions and code standards to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance. • Collaborate with product, design, and backend partners to translate ideas into delightful, accessible, and performant interfaces. • Lead by example - write high-quality, testable code and perform thoughtful code reviews. • Champion modern front end technologies, developer tools, and patterns to continuously evolve our stack. • Mentor and elevate other engineers through knowledge sharing and collaboration.

• Analyze requirements and develop software solutions based on requests from the product team, including improvements and bug fixes. • Support continuous improvement of development processes and enhancement of solutions by conducting research to identify and propose new methodologies, concepts, and trends aligned with company goals. • Ensure documentation is kept up to date and aligned with the latest versions of systems and tools. • Ensure delivery quality, including creating and maintaining automated tests (unit, functional, and BDD). • Provide technical support for production systems, assisting in troubleshooting and resolving issues. • Configure the development environment and perform deployment/publishing of applications. • Define the architecture for new solutions. • Stay up to date on industry trends and ensure the appropriate use of best practices and the latest technologies.
