Staff Front End Engineer

• Act as the front end technical lead for cross-functional, agile teams building high-impact web applications. • Drive architecture decisions and code standards to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance. • Collaborate with product, design, and backend partners to translate ideas into delightful, accessible, and performant interfaces. • Lead by example - write high-quality, testable code and perform thoughtful code reviews. • Champion modern front end technologies, developer tools, and patterns to continuously evolve our stack. • Mentor and elevate other engineers through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of professional front end development experience, with deep expertise of 3+ years in React (including state management, animations, and Webpack).
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks; React Native experience is a plus.
- Proven experience leading or architecting complex, interactive applications end-to-end.
- Passion for design systems, performance optimization, and crafting exceptional user experiences.
- Track record of mentoring engineers and improving team culture and process.
- Collaborative mindset - you’re equally comfortable whiteboarding solutions or rolling up your sleeves to ship them.
- Awareness of scalability and performance considerations across browsers and devices.
- BS/BA in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
