Role Description As a Staff Front-End Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the entire software development lifecycle from FE design, build, test and maintain our SmithRx web product suite. You will work with Product and other stakeholders (Business, Backend, UX, etc) and bridge the gap between UI/UX design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works. You will advocate and bring best practices/methodologies, coding standards and large-scale web design perspectives to our team. We need our engineers to be versatile and driven, display leadership and ownership qualities, and be enthusiastic to take on new challenges as we continue to push technology forward. - Taking the lead on designing, developing and maintaining SmithRx frontend features with a strong depth of knowledge in JavaScript, React, and GraphQL while leveraging CI/CD to iterate quickly. - Build and maintain design libraries within SmithRx in collaboration with UX designers and other FE engineers. - Collaborate with stakeholders and technical leads to understand functional and technical feasibility of UI/UX designs to produce high-quality, performant, decoupled, and scalable code. - Continually apply software development best practices, design patterns, tools and technologies. - Troubleshoot production issues by performing triages for issues that arise and performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues. - Coach/mentor junior team members in their assigned engineering projects by performing design and code reviews. - Work with senior leadership to turn technical vision into a tangible roadmap. - Be the cornerstone of a collaborative learning culture through knowledge sharing, mentorship, code reviews, and exploration of new frameworks and paradigms. Qualifications - BS or advanced degree in computer science. - 8+ years of software development experience working on web applications. - Expertise in JavaScript, React, GraphQL, HTML, CSS and various front-end frameworks. - Proven experience in client-side software design, implementing reusable components, and ability to work on features independently. - Successful history of leveraging AI for development. - Experience using Git in a professional environment. - Experience in writing automated tests using testing frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium. - Some industry experience with CI/CD pipeline, Docker, and a common cloud service provider. - Understanding of typical web application, SOA and micro services patterns a plus. - Experience at a high-growth startup a plus. • Analyze requirements and develop software solutions based on requests from the product team, including improvements and bug fixes. • Support continuous improvement of development processes and enhancement of solutions by conducting research to identify and propose new methodologies, concepts, and trends aligned with company goals. • Ensure documentation is kept up to date and aligned with the latest versions of systems and tools. • Ensure delivery quality, including creating and maintaining automated tests (unit, functional, and BDD). • Provide technical support for production systems, assisting in troubleshooting and resolving issues. • Configure the development environment and perform deployment/publishing of applications. • Define the architecture for new solutions. • Stay up to date on industry trends and ensure the appropriate use of best practices and the latest technologies.

• Design, build, and deploy scalable full-stack applications using C#/.NET and React • AI Integration: Architect and implement AI-driven features, such as chatbots and voice-enabled tools, using the Microsoft AI stack. • API Architecture: Design, build, and maintain secure, high-performance RESTful APIs to connect frontends with backend services and third-party integrations. • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while performing peer code reviews to ensure high engineering standards. • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or Azure DevOps • Work with Docker/Kubernetes for containerized deployments • Collaborate with product and UX teams to translate business needs into technical solutions • Perform code reviews and enforce engineering best practices**

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications and shared UI components using Angular, RxJS, and TypeScript • Build responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications with strong usability and security standards • Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, testing strategies, CI/CD workflows, and development standards • Improve frontend reliability, maintainability, accessibility, and browser performance optimisation • Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and blockchain engineering teams to deliver seamless user experiences • Participate in code reviews, testing workflows, and continuous improvement of frontend engineering practices • Monitor frontend application performance and contribute to observability and debugging processes • At senior level, lead architectural initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive frontend engineering standards across teams
