Motion Graphics Artist
Daktronics
• Design and produce high-quality 2D and 3D motion graphics for LED display systems. • Create motion graphics optimized for a wide variety of screen sizes, shapes, and unique LED configurations. • Leverage knowledge of emerging AI-powered creative tools and platforms to enhance workflows. • Translate creative direction into compelling visual storytelling. • Stay current on motion design trends, tools, and emerging technologies. • Solve complex design challenges independently and as part of a team. • Lead design efforts on select projects and support/mentor other artists as needed. • Partner with editors, producers, and designers to resolve technical and creative challenges. • Maintain organized project files and follow best practices for workflows and version control.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in design, animation, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of motion graphics experience in sports, broadcast, agency, or similar environments.
- Strong portfolio/demo reel showcasing a wide range of creative styles.
- Advanced proficiency in: Cinema 4D (modeling, lighting, animation, dynamics, Redshift, etc.).
- Adobe After Effects (2D/3D design and animation).
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine is a plus.
- Strong understanding of sports.
- Experience creating content for live events, sports, or large-format displays.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to work independently.
- Experience with broadcast real-time graphics.
- Basic HTML knowledge.
- Ability to work with a fast-paced, highly collaborative creative team.
- Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment.
- Fluent in English, written and verbal.
