Role Description We are looking for a 3D Animator / Rigger to support the production of episodic and long-form animated content for a fast-growing digital entertainment series within Roblox. This role involves both animation and basic-to-intermediate rigging, including preparing characters for use in Roblox, working with game-ready assets, and bringing engaging characters and environments to life for serialized storytelling. This is a great opportunity for animators who are open to learning Roblox pipelines, with training and guidance provided. - Create high-quality 3D animations using Blender - Rig and prepare characters for Roblox (R15 or custom rigs) - Work with existing character and environment assets for episodic content - Animate character performances, actions, and scenes based on scripts or storyboards - Ensure smooth, expressive, and narrative-driven animation sequences - Collaborate with creative leads to refine storytelling and pacing - Prepare assets for integration into Roblox Studio and in-game use - Maintain consistency across episodes and evolving content formats Qualifications - Experience with Blender animation (required) - Basic to intermediate rigging experience (armatures, bones, weight painting) - Understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, posing) - Experience working with pre-built or game assets is a plus - Familiarity with Roblox is a plus, but not required - Willingness to learn Roblox rigging workflows and tools - Ability to follow technical pipelines and iterate based on feedback Requirements - Experience with game engines or real-time animation workflows (nice to have) - Exposure to Roblox Studio or similar platforms (nice to have) - Experience rigging humanoid characters (nice to have) Benefits - Permanent remote work flexibility - Paid Time Off - Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) coverage - Annual performance bonuses - Dedicated coaches offer an extra channel of support and skill-building - Opportunities for professional growth
