FOIA Analyst

Le'Fant LLC

• Performs mid-level (journeyman) FOIA processing with minimal supervision. • Reviews and interprets FOIA requests, conducts or validates searches, applies exemptions, prepares releasable records. • Ensures responses meet statutory and VA requirements. • Provides technical accuracy, consistency, and support to junior staff. • Contributes to efficient workflow management and quality FOIA production.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of FOIA request processing within the last 36 months.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of FOIA exemptions, request types, timelines, and fee categories.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret FOIA requests and determine tasking and search requirements.
  • Skilled in conducting or validating searches for responsive records.
  • Proficient in applying redaction software accurately and documenting exemption decisions.
  • Strong written communication skills for drafting responses and summaries.

Role Description The Analyst, Customer relations desk, provides front-line (non-technical) customer support to NetWitness internal and external customers. This role acts as a critical coordination point between customers and internal support teams, ensuring timely issue resolution, excellent service levels, and effective escalation management.
