Role Description The Senior Director of the Broadcom VMware Practice is responsible for leading the strategy, growth, and delivery execution of the organization’s VMware-focused business, aligned with Broadcom’s evolving VMware portfolio. - Practice Strategy & Growth - Define and execute the strategic vision for the Broadcom VMware practice - Drive revenue growth, pipeline development, and profitability targets - Identify new service offerings aligned with Broadcom VMware portfolio (e.g., VCF, private cloud, security, app modernization) - Develop go-to-market strategies in collaboration with sales leadership - Broadcom / VMware Partnership - Build and maintain executive-level relationships with Broadcom/VMware leadership - Align practice priorities with Broadcom's partner programs and licensing models - Stay ahead of VMware roadmap changes post-acquisition and translate into services strategy - Represent the organization in partner briefings, events, and joint initiatives - Sales & Solution Leadership - Partner with sales teams to support large, strategic deals - Provide executive sponsorship on key pursuits - Shape complex VMware solutions (cloud, infrastructure, EUC, networking, security) - Ensure strong pipeline hygiene and forecasting accuracy - Delivery & Operational Excellence - Oversee delivery quality, customer satisfaction, and project profitability - Establish best practices, methodologies, and reusable assets - Ensure successful execution of: - VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) - NSX networking & security - Aria (vRealize) automation - Horizon / EUC solutions - Manage risk, escalations, and continuous improvement initiatives - Team Leadership & Talent Development - Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of architects, consultants, and practice leaders - Develop certification and skills roadmap aligned to Broadcom VMware requirements - Attract, retain, and develop top technical and consulting talent Qualifications - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ethical and Critical Thinking - Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. - Excellent sales and customer service skills. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong supervisory and leadership skills. - Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate. - Ability to function well in a high-paced and stressful environment. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Requirements - 12–15+ years in IT services, consulting, or enterprise infrastructure leadership - 5+ years leading VMware-focused practices or large-scale programs - Proven experience managing P&L and driving multi-million-dollar revenue growth - Deep understanding of Broadcom’s VMware ecosystem (post-acquisition model strongly preferred) Physical Requirements - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. - Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
