Director, Transactions Management

• Lead the complete transaction lifecycle from initial engagement through lease execution and occupancy, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget. • Manage multiple transactions simultaneously across various property types and geographies. • Coordinate with brokers, clients, landlords, and internal stakeholders to maintain transaction momentum and resolve issues proactively. • Prepare and review financial analyses, site comparisons, and transaction summaries to support client decision-making. • Ensure all transactions adhere to JLL standards, client requirements, and regulatory compliance obligations. • Maintain accurate documentation throughout the transaction process, including proposals, letters of intent, lease abstracts, and final executed documents. • Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and mitigate risk exposure for both clients and JLL. • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trusted advisor relationships through responsive communication and proactive problem-solving. • Understand client business objectives and real estate strategies to align transaction execution with broader organizational goals. • Provide regular status updates and comprehensive reporting on portfolio activity and transaction pipeline. • Mentor junior transaction coordinators and analysts, providing guidance on best practices and professional development. • Collaborate with brokerage teams, project managers, legal counsel, and financial analysts to ensure seamless transaction execution. • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing across the transaction management function. • Track transaction economics including rental rates, concessions, tenant improvement allowances, and commission structures. • Maintain accurate data in JLL systems and client reporting platforms. • Support budget forecasting and variance analysis for client real estate portfolios.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in commercial real estate transaction management, brokerage operations, or related field
  • Proven track record managing complex lease transactions from initiation through execution
  • Strong understanding of commercial lease structures, market terms, and real estate financial analysis
  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial modeling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact professionally with C-level executives
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and process execution.
  • Experience with transaction management software platforms and CRM systems (preferred)
  • Knowledge of corporate real estate portfolio management (preferred)
  • Familiarity with lease administration and critical date tracking (preferred)
  • Project management certification or training (preferred)
