Role Description The Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager to develop the production schedule and maintain quality assurance in accordance with project objectives and estimated labor budget. The Project Engineer will also assist PM to develop and implement work breakdown structures to ensure the established scope, schedule, and budget are met for all assigned projects across all functions. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO AS A PROJECT ENGINEER AT SIGMA: - Assist with preparing program/project proposals - Assist with preparing project change orders and/or corrective actions - Consult with SME(s), or act as SME, to ensure projects and/or programs meet existing and new regulatory requirements - Communicate and direct team project objectives, parameters, status, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders - Work with PM and Supervisors on the requisition of resources to meet project objectives; reviewing the allocation of resources and approving reprioritization as necessary - Coordinate with the Functional Managers/Supervisors to establish weekly Associate assignment schedules - Work as part of a team with Supervisors, providing feedback to assist in coaching and developing associates on their assigned projects - Always promoting safety in the workplace - Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned Qualifications - High school diploma, or equivalent, is required. A 2-year or 4-year degree is preferred. - 5+ years of experience in the electrical power distribution industry. - Management may consider other education and/or work experience to be acceptable for appointment to this position.
