Role Description Acentra seeks a Developer, Senior to join our growing team. The Developer, Senior is responsible for designing, enhancing, and supporting complex enterprise applications across a diverse technology stack, including: - Legacy .NET applications - Modern .NET Core microservices - Angular-based front ends - Distributed job processing systems This role requires strong troubleshooting and production support skills, collaboration with infrastructure teams in cloud environments, and a focus on improving performance, reliability, and maintainability while supporting ongoing modernization efforts. Position is remote, but candidates based in (Location), or Location 2 area preferred. Job Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, troubleshooting, and enhancement of enterprise .NET applications, including a large monolithic .NET application, legacy ASPX applications, and .NET Core–based microservices. - Provide advanced production support, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution across web, mobile, distributed jobs, and cloud-hosted environments. - Drive modernization, performance, and reliability improvements while maintaining stability across legacy and modern technology stacks. - Design and develop scalable full-stack solutions using C#, .NET/.NET Core, Angular, and related frameworks. - Possess working knowledge of AWS services to effectively troubleshoot application issues and collaborate with the infrastructure team during deployments and production incidents. - Develop and optimize distributed background jobs and integrations, ensuring reliability and fault tolerance. - Implement and maintain Azure CI/CD pipelines, supporting automated builds, deployments, and release management. - Design, query, and optimize data solutions using SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and data modeling. - Collaborate with QA, operations, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, resilient, and supportable solutions. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. - 6+ years of software development experience. - Strong experience with .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, legacy ASPX applications, Entity Framework and .NET Core. - Proven experience developing full-stack applications, including front-end frameworks such as Angular. - Hands-on experience supporting applications throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and release processes (Azure DevOps or similar tools). - Solid knowledge of relational databases, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL, with experience in query optimization and performance tuning. - Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS) sufficient to troubleshoot application and deployment issues in collaboration with infrastructure teams. Role Description Welty Energy is looking to add a Distribution Engineering Technician to our team! As a Distribution Engineering Technician, you will support projects as part of a team of Distribution line engineers and designers to provide design services for our utility clients. This role is expected to work near our client sites in Eastern Pennsylvania mirroring EST working hours. The role may be considered for a remote position for the right candidate. Day to day, you may: - Prepare construction plan documents as required per project. - Perform analysis/modeling of wood, steel, concrete, and ductile iron poles. - Provide technical assistance to the Welty Project Management Team as requested. - Verify projects are following all applicable client standards. - Utilize client software to manage drawings checked out by Welty. - Perform site visits when necessary. - Consult on internal projects when requested by the PM, Portfolio Manager, or Executive Vice President. - Perform Quality checks to ensure project quality and project completion before submitting project. - Perform Electrical Calculations (Load ratings, Transformer Sizing, etc.). - Be the main contact for team questions and technical issues. - Train new hires on software, engineering/construction processes, types of equipment, etc. Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology. - 5+ years of experience designing distribution projects utilizing AutoCAD and/or DDS (Distribution Design Studio). - Relevant experience on distribution design, focused on 12kV to 34.5kV preferred. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Effective organizational skills. - Be able to travel 15-30% of the time based on business needs.
