Role Description Join us in our support to the US Space Force (HQ USSF) Commercial Satellite Communication (COMSATCOM) Office (CSCO), where you will help shape the future of assured, resilient SATCOM for our warfighters and mission partners. As a key member of a highly collaborative, mission-focused team, you will apply your expertise to help deliver innovative commercial SATCOM capabilities, integrate a transformative COMSATCOM business model into the broader SATCOM enterprise, and translate complex operational needs into effective, affordable solutions. In this role, you will work directly with COMSATCOM customers and stakeholders, providing trusted guidance, insightful analysis, and clear recommendations that drive real-world impact in a rapidly evolving space domain. Responsibilities - Support financial and acquisition activities for current and future COMSATCOM efforts, with focus on cost, schedule, performance, and funding execution. - Assist in the development, review, and staffing of program and acquisition documents, including Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), project outlines, and other financial planning artifacts. - Advise clients on budgeting, accounting, cost accounting, obligation tracking, and related financial process improvement activities under the guidance of the senior financial analyst. - Assist with implementation and sustainment of internal control activities consistent with the Federal Managers’ Financial Integrity Act and applicable federal financial requirements. - Analyze financial data, identify trends, and recommend findings and recommendations to the senior analyst and program leadership. - Monitor project financial status and provide clear, timely reporting to client stakeholders on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, as required. - Provide guidance on funds management, obligation and expenditure tracking, and accounting matters in accordance with applicable federal and DoD requirements. - Coordinate across government, contractor, and mission stakeholders to ensure financial documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with program objectives. - Perform special projects and other duties as assigned in support of mission and client priorities. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of government financial management experience, preferably supporting DoD or other federal agencies. - Demonstrated proficiency with financial management systems, databases, and analytical tools. - Working knowledge of federal acquisition and financial management principles, including FAR and government pricing procedures. - Strong organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with attention to detail. - Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders while managing multiple priorities and deadlines under direction of senior staff. - Active Secret clearance required. - Ability to support on-site client meetings within the National Capital Region. Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with federal appropriations law and funds execution in a federal or defense environment. - Knowledge of COMSATCOM program financial structures or experience supporting a Working Capital Fund environment. - Experience developing financial reports, spend plans, or status of fund documents for government program offices. - Demonstrated ability to build working relationships with clients and cross functional teams. • Organize and run projects • Project management- ability to run 2-3 projects simultaneously, in accordance with the TMO standard operating procedure • Lead cross functional project teams that design and execute productivity initiatives • Articulate a project handoff before a project starts • Articulate and align roles and responsibilities at the project launch • Lead a team to build crisp problem statements and iterate them with project sponsors 2-3 times in gate reviews • Create artifacts including: 1) project charters, 2) project workplans, 3) scoping, 4) scorecards, 5) action item lists and holding people accountable, 6) project prenups (plan the project exit before you start a project) • Build project business case and articulate assumptions to senior leaders • Generate hypotheses for potential projects, quickly test them, and scale successful initiatives • Generate targets and transparently share variance reporting (actuals vs target) for FP&A to place in AOP • Align targets with P&L leaders prior to AOP • Establish governance and executive report outs • Run the TMO gate review process • Prepare gating artifacts and templates for the project team • Prep project team to present at gate review • Work with HUB and FP&A to track project results • Build a change management structure and lead the structure through a change management process

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and requirements • Document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories • Conduct workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to gather and validate needs • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities • Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track performance metrics • Support data-driven decision-making using tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau • Evaluate current business processes and identify inefficiencies • Recommend and implement process optimization and automation solutions • Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors • Ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered accurately • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

• Lead requirements elicitation, clarification and documentation for testable acceptance criteria. • Produce and maintain clear, structured test artefacts: test cases, scenarios, feature files, traceability. • Make recommendations, unblock decisions, ensure the team is ready for execution. • Partner with TAs and automation engineers to align manual and automated coverage. • Participate in reviews where requirements/test impacts are relevant. • Manage stakeholders, keeping scope, risk and dependencies visible. • Drive continuous improvement of BA/test processes in a multi-team setup.
