Role Description As Sr. Project Manager, you would help coordinate agile teams to support multiple DHS focused applications utilizing the ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will serve as a key partner to the Program Manager in leading multiple sub-teams, advising and engaging the client on key operational and strategic priorities, tracking, and supporting completion of high-quality deliverables, and assisting with team management tasks. Qualifications - 9+ years total experience in software development - 6+ years of IT Project Management experience - 1+ years’ experience with JIRA or other requirements work tracking tools - Current active Public Trust Clearance - US Citizenship required - Must reside in the United States and work must be performed in the United States Requirements - Proficiency in Project Management experience in an Agile software development environment - Experience conducting daily scrum stand-up meetings - Facilitating Sprint planning meetings and coordinating Sprint reviews, retrospectives, and burn-down charts - Define all project activities and milestones required to meet objectives and deliverables - Monitor program execution to identify obstacles/deviations from plan and take corrective action as needed - Conduct continuous risk assessment and management - Work with stakeholders to develop metrics and create reports for tracking metrics and program execution - Manage the contract, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance - Develop plans, assign tasks, monitor performance, communicate progress, resolve conflicts, and escalate issues - Experience with all aspects of configuration management planning - Maintain detailed and up-to-date project documentation - Ensure all project deliverables adhere to established quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and agency policies - Proactively identify, assess, and communicate potential risks associated with project development and execution Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years’ experience managing distributed teams in support of geographically dispersed customers - 3+ years’ experience with Agile methodology - 1+ years of experience managing ServiceNow projects - Prior business analyst experience - Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification - The ability to proactively communicate with federal clients and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment - The ability to work closely with and explain technical concepts/solutions to non-technical client stakeholders - Active DHS or DoW Public Trust Professional Skills - Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills - Strong experience presenting to stakeholders - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Understanding of technical concepts in the relevant industry (e.g., software development, engineering) Benefits - We are an equal opportunity employer - Reasonable Accommodations are available - Pay range for this position based on full-time employment: $158,819.00 - $269,993.00
