Compliance Coordinator
RecargaPay
• Conduct regulatory analyses related to new products, operations, flows, and strategic company initiatives. • Support discussions related to regulations applicable to Payment Institutions, SCFI, payment methods, payment schemes, and financial products. • Prepare legal opinions, recommendations, and regulatory guidance for internal teams. • Support the interpretation and practical application of Central Bank of Brazil regulations and other regulatory requirements. • Identify regulatory risks and assess operational impacts. • Participate in strategic discussions with business, product, operations, technology, and leadership teams. • Support the development of viable regulatory solutions for new projects and initiatives. • Work closely with partner teams, balancing regulatory risk and business needs. • Support prioritization decisions considering risk, operational impact, and company context. • Regulatory interactions. • Support reviews of policies, procedures, and internal processes. • Contribute to the organization and maintenance of the company’s regulatory governance structure. • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to Compliance processes and workflows. • Support the technical development of the team. • Lead alignments and prioritization of the area’s demands. • Work collaboratively with different stakeholders. • Support the sustainability of the area’s operations in high-demand environments with multiple priorities.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in regulatory Compliance within the financial market.
- Knowledge of regulations applicable to Payment Institutions and/or SCFI.
- Experience with regulatory analyses related to financial products, payment methods, and financial operations.
- Knowledge of payment ecosystem regulations, including Pix, payment schemes, and the card market.
- Familiarity with regulatory rules and dynamics related to payment schemes supervised by the Central Bank of Brazil.
- Experience in regulated and highly dynamic environments.
- Experience interacting between Compliance and business teams.
- Experience in environments requiring strong prioritization, autonomy, and decision-making capabilities.

- Previous experience coordinating people, workflows, or regulatory routines.
- Experience in fintechs, payment companies, or digital financial institutions.
- Experience with acquiring, sub-acquiring, payment processing, digital wallets, or digital financial products.
- Knowledge of:
- Pix;

- AML/CFT;

- Open Finance;
- Central Bank regulations applicable to Payment Institutions, SCFI, and payment schemes.

- Familiarity with Central Bank of Brazil systems, workflows, and regulatory routines applicable to Payment Institutions and supervised financial institutions (e.g., Sisbacen, Bacen Correio, Unicad, CRD, among others).
- Experience in high-growth environments.
- Familiarity with AI and automation tools applied to productivity and operational efficiency.

Role Description The Compliance Investigator will report to the Fraud Investigations Manager in the Compliance and Risk Management Department. This role is responsible for performing a variety of duties to assist Inspira Financial Trust in investigating, resolving, and preventing fraudulent activity. - Investigate reports of potential fraudulent transactions and other suspicious activity. - Update and maintain investigation logs. - Prepare and report incident summaries to applicable stakeholders. - Respond to various incident-related questions. - Act as a strategic partner to various departments across the business. - Provide guidance regarding product design and gaps that may represent potential fraud risk. - Recommend anti-fraud security tools and process workflows. - Assist in the intake, triage, assignment, and tracking of potential incidents and suspicious activity reported to the Fraud Management Team. - Perform a complete and accurate investigation of reported incidents including account history and transaction review. - Initiate mitigation and containment actions, providing reports to stakeholders, and offering recommendations for remediation. - Collaborate with the Fraud Investigations Manager to conduct fraud risk analysis on a periodic basis. - Identify gaps/areas that could be targeted by threat actors. - Document all investigative activities and prepare written reports of findings and recommendations. - Maintain records, databases, logs, and other needed documentation related to fraudulent activity. - Promote a culture of fraud awareness, prevention-first mentality, and personal accountability across all levels of the enterprise. - Other duties as assigned.
