Alabang (96050), Philippines, Muntinlupa City, National Capital Region (Manila) Associate, Estate Settlement Summary: - Estates Associates are responsible for helping family, loved ones or designated representatives manage the financial wishes of our valued customers after they have passed away. Serve as service experts, provide assistance during difficult times, and help navigate through the estate process across all Capital One products. Work Setup: Onsite. Candidates must be amenable to a day shift schedule. General Responsibilities : - Responsible for handling incoming communications from deceased representatives, this includes but not limited to triaging concern or inquiry to the appropriate corresponding case, handling administrative tasks and owning all customer related communications such as written and phone calls. - Coordinate directly with deceased representatives of banking customers to allocate their asset to the appropriate party - Restrict account access, disable debit cards, and remove externally linked accounts - Return government funds to US treasury that posted to accounts post customers date of death - Review legal documents for state requirements - Initiate payments and provide date of death letters to attorneys and executors - Contribute to a customer-centric culture, continuous improvement, innovation and change - Collaborate and effectively influence various business units within Capital One - Ensure all audit and security policies and procedures are followed in accordance with Bank policy and Federal regulations - Exceed Customer expectations through superior service in all aspects of communication - Maintain a working knowledge of the complete line of contacts, products and services offered to quickly assist - Own personal development to achieve job proficiency and improve customer satisfaction - Support the team's critical function on creating efficiencies, identify process improvements and make recommendations to drive these to implementation - Exhibits flexibility and responds quickly to meet changing business needs including other job-related duties that may be assigned from time to time Basic Qualifications: - Two (2) years college level education or equivalent bank work experience - Two (2) years of experience in Retail Banking - At least 1 year experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite - Strong attention to detail and with sound judgment - Excellent communication skills, understanding the needs and appropriately tailors written and verbal communication - Customer orientation in understanding and listening to customer concerns - Ability to handle difficult calls and sensitive information Preferred Qualifications: - At least 1 year of experience reviewing legal documents No agencies please.
