Join our SRE team Our team is responsible for building and maintaining the Akamai Linode Compute infrastructure, with a strong focus on SLO-driven reliability to deliver secure and dependable services to our customers. Partner with the best As SRE 2 - Cloud Networking, you'll manage cloud platforms, enabling advanced computing and networking for customers. As a Site Reliability Engineer II, you will be responsible for: - Using configuration management tools to deploy virtual infrastructure and software updates security and safely. - Developing tools and scripts with shell/python/Yaml languages to automate the creation - Creating monitoring solutions based on Prometheus metrics and Grafana dashboards - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate marketing efforts and support product development initiatives. - Handling different configuration management tools such as Ansible/Chef/Salt stack, Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: - Have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent - Have experience of 3+ yrs in a Site Reliability engineering with large scale distributed systems. - Have experience with programming in Linux environments, such as python and shell scripting. - Have experience and knowledge with networking technologies such as routing, firewall and DNS - Have experience with open-source monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana - Have experience with configuration management tools such as Salt stack, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
