Weekday (YC W21)
• Act as a domain expert in pricing strategy and financial analysis within consumer retail environments. • Evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs related to financial modeling, valuation, pricing optimization, and transaction analysis. • Provide structured, high-quality feedback to improve the accuracy, reasoning, and robustness of AI systems. • Stress-test complex financial scenarios to ensure outputs align with real-world investment, strategic, and operational standards. • Contribute to the creation of rigorous financial reasoning benchmarks and evaluation frameworks. • Collaborate cross-functionally with AI researchers, engineers, and product stakeholders to enhance system performance and usability.
Job Requirements
- Experience in M&A advisory or industry coverage at a bulge bracket investment bank.
- Experience as an investor at a large-cap or mid-market private equity firm.
- A track record as an analyst at a hedge fund.
- Deep familiarity with financial statement analysis and regulatory filings available through U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission EDGAR (including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and 8-Ks).
- Strong expertise in pricing strategy within consumer retail markets.
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and execute complex financial workflows at both strategic and operational levels.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High analytical rigor and structured problem-solving capabilities.
