Business Development Manager – Central/Eastern Europe

• Be the driving force behind strategic projects in the European markets working closely with the Central BD Team / M&A Team • Own the process from lead generation, through contact establishment to building a strong pipeline. Be able to convert leads into Group members • Leverage your existing network of contacts to create growth opportunities • Be structured and manage deal-flow in CRM • Advocate for The Collective Ace’s vision and feel comfortable/ at ease conveying it to C-level individuals and Founders in the gaming industry.
• Sourcing - proactively identifying new investment opportunities and qualifying inbound leads for the firm by meeting with entrepreneurs • Deal Diligence - helping the team evaluate new investment opportunities through market research, product reviews, competitive analysis, metrics analysis, customer/user reviews and operational and financial diligence • Assist in negotiating all transactions between the business and potential acquisitions; creates investment conclusions and similar presentations for management for assessment, valuation and modelling of various transaction types and structures • Liaise with the legal and finance departments in ensuring that there is a seamless execution of merger and acquisition transactions • Develop detailed financial models and valuation analyses for all potential transactions and provides input into the preparation of technical reports for senior management that effectively communicate all review findings • Stay informed on market trends governing mergers and acquisitions, ensuring that all of the business's M&A initiatives are within the confines of the law

• Be the end-to-end Product Owner - responsible for the game, its players, and metrics and their performance, while you lead the team to success • Be part or directly hold the Product vision and strategy - able to translate them into execution-level requests and requirements, including measurable goals if necessary • Maximize efficiency - base your vision and strategy on cost-effective and high-impacting opportunities • Lead cross-functional communications (engineers, designers, marketers, etc.) to bring game updates or general team efforts to life, while acting as a facilitator • Develop a deep understanding of what brings growth to your Product and cross-check with data and users feedback • Manage the game’s day-to-day – develop compelling in-game engagement, events, and promotions based on a deep understanding of game metrics • Improve Retention, Conversion and Monetization - hypothesize, test, and improve strategies executed during the day-to-day • Lead and manage the members handling the game’s day-to-day operations • Work closely with other Product Managers and Leadership in cross-product initiatives, knowledge exchange, reporting, and/or forecasting
• Act as the primary finance contact for designated business units/regions. • Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insight • Build strong cross-functional relationships to influence and support business objectives. • Lead annual Group budget, monthly rolling forecast, and long-range planning cycles for business areas. • Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful monthly performance reporting. • Enhance financial models, tools, and reporting processes.
• General ledger postings and completion of the month-end process for two local entities • Onboarding of newly acquired companies, enabling monthly reporting in line with group guidelines and IFRS • Preparation of the monthly management pack, including the review and analysis of month-end results • Working collaboratively with local tax advisors, finance teams and management on Actuals as well as Forecasting/Budgeting • Assisting audit queries and liaising with auditors to ensure compliance • Providing support with ad hoc Group accounting projects
• Design and iterate on core strategy mechanics: exploration, resource economies, tech progression, and combat systems • Balance progression curves, difficulty scaling, and reward structures for mobile sessions • Create clear design documentation, flowcharts, wireframes, and system specifications • Prototype mechanics (paper or in-engine) to validate design hypotheses • Collaborate with Engineering and Art to implement and polish features • Partner with LiveOps and Analytics to define KPIs and design A/B tests • Analyze player data and feedback to optimize mechanics, economy, and monetization • Support QA with scenario testing and balance validation • Mentor junior designers through design reviews, feedback sessions, and documentation standards • Lead design discussions and advocate for player-first solutions across disciplines • Drive design quality and consistency across features, establishing best practices for the team
• Clearly understand the capabilities of each company in the Group and their targets • Be in touch with all the BD teams within the Group and be aware of their current clients/pipelines • Be in touch with the key gaming companies and understand their needs for game development outsourcing • Contact potential clients, offer game development outsourcing services, close deals • Help building assets pipeline through LiveOps sales • Leverage your existing network of contacts to create growth opportunities • Support with Key Account Management for Big Accounts (Group companies) • Be structured and manage deal-flow in CRM
