Role Description The Senior Pricing Manager serves as a senior individual contributor and pricing subject-matter expert across the THTBC portfolio. This role owns end-to-end pricing strategy, compliance, and audit-readiness on the largest and most complex federal proposals; advises capture, contracts, and operations leadership on cost positioning; and mentors junior and mid-level pricers across the enterprise. The role draws on deep cost-modeling, internal-controls, and compliance disciplines to deliver pricing positions that survive customer evaluation, DCAA audit, and protest scrutiny. What You'll Be Doing - Lead the development of cost and price volumes for the highest-complexity federal proposals (DoD and civilian), ensuring compliance with RFP requirements, FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, and THTBC corporate pricing policies. - Own pricing strategy from capture-stage gate review through BAFO and post-submission negotiation, including should-cost analysis, price-to-win positioning, and walk-away thresholds. - Build and maintain indirect cost pool structures, forward pricing rate forecasts, and provisional billing rate submissions; reconcile budget-to-actual variance and recommend rate updates. - Serve as the pricing organization’s internal-controls and audit-readiness lead — design and execute compliance reviews of BOEs, cost narratives, and indirect rate proposals against FAR 31.2 allowability and DCAA expectations. - Mentor and develop junior and mid-level Pricing Analysts and Pricing Managers; review their work product, coach on methodology, and serve as the escalation point for technical pricing questions. (No direct reports.) - Develop and own pricing templates, cost models, rate-build workbooks, and BOE libraries; drive process improvement and automation across the pricing function. - Validate pricing data accuracy across Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, OneStream, and adjacent finance systems; reconcile data discrepancies and remediate control gaps. - Analyze solicitation documents to identify pricing requirements, evaluation criteria, risks, and ambiguities; draft clarification questions and provide pricing input to proposal teaming and bid/no-bid decisions. - Present pricing recommendations, risk assessments, and profitability analyses at executive gate reviews; translate quantitative analysis into business-case narratives for non-financial leadership. - Lead historical pricing and past-performance analysis on recompetes; benchmark proposed rates against GSA CALC, BLS OEWS, USAspending, and Wage Determinations. - Maintain complete, auditable pricing files for proposals, modifications, REAs, and post-award actions; serve as primary pricing liaison for internal audit, external CPA, and DCAA inquiries. - Partner with Capture, Contracts, Business Development, Program Management, Operations, and Purchasing to ensure pricing strategy aligns with technical solution and contract type. - Identify enterprise-level pricing risks and recommend mitigations to the Director of Pricing and executive leadership. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field — OR an equivalent combination of education and progressive professional experience. - Ten (10) or more years of progressive professional experience spanning federal contracting, financial analysis, internal audit, pricing, cost modeling, or program financials. - Demonstrated experience in federal government contracting — including exposure to program financials, pricing strategy, compliance, and enterprise reporting. - Hands-on experience with pricing compliance and cost modeling on federal contracts. - Demonstrated proficiency in internal controls testing, operational and compliance audits, and risk assessment and mitigation. - Strong financial planning and analysis, project budgeting, and forecasting skills. - Proven ability to perform analytics, validate data accuracy, identify control gaps, and deliver actionable insights to executive leadership. - Track record in process improvement and automation of finance, audit, or pricing workflows. - Working proficiency with the following enterprise tools: Microsoft Office (advanced Excel), Deltek (Costpoint or comparable), Unanet, OneStream, Oracle, SharePoint, and Salesforce. - Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial and pricing concepts to executive and non-financial audiences. - Working knowledge of federal acquisition cost principles (FAR Part 31, FAR Part 15) and DCAA-compliance fundamentals — with the depth to lead an audit-ready BOE — or equivalent internal-controls experience in a federal contracting environment. - Authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience as a Pricing Manager, Senior Pricing Analyst, Senior Internal Auditor, or FP&A Manager in a federal government contracting environment. - Direct DoD prime contractor proposal pricing experience. - ProPricer or comparable proposal-pricing tool experience. - Experience with SumX, Deltek Costpoint, and Unanet integrated reporting. - Active or eligible-for Secret clearance, OR ability to obtain Public Trust. - MBA or master’s in accounting, Finance, or related field. - Professional certification — CIA, CISA, CPA, CMA, CGFM, DAU certifications, or equivalent. - Experience supporting Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) / 8(a) / Tribal entity pricing and sole-source authority. - Familiarity with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Service Contract Act (SCA), and Davis-Bacon Act. Physical Demands & Work Environment - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. - Regular use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling office equipment. - Ability to occasionally walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop or kneel. - May occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies). - Clear vision to read documents on computer screens. - Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone/video meeting, and email. Benefits - Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage - TRICARE Supplemental - Critical Illness insurance - Company-Paid Life and Short-Term Disability insurance - Optional Long-Term Disability - Paid Leave - 401(k) Retirement Plan - Identity Theft Protection - Employee Discounts - Wellness Seminars
