Job Description
Assistant Manager, Vacation Sales
Travel + Leisure Co.
• Support the Manager in overseeing daily field sales operations across assigned venues and events • Serve as a professional brand ambassador and sales leader for Travel and Leisure Vacations • Actively engage in face-to-face package sales, guest interaction, and vacation package promotion • Provide on-the-spot coaching, guidance, and feedback to Vacation Sales Agents • Assist with onboarding, training reinforcement, and performance development of new and existing agents • Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements • Monitor individual and team performance against established production goals • Assist with workforce scheduling, break coverage, and event staffing logistics • Support setup, teardown, and overall presentation of sales booths and displays • Escalate guest concerns, operational issues, and compliance risks as needed • Responsible for travel arrangements for self and team members
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must always maintain a high level of professionalism
- Ability to effectively coach, counsel and motivate direct reports
- Provide exceptional customer service (i.e. must be able to communicate in a positive and effective manner when dealing with upset owners)
- Ability to efficiently multi-task
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Ability to TO/Close for VSAs
- Ability to recruit, train and develop employees
- Ability to lead by example
- Detail oriented and accurate
- Ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Demonstrated problem solving ability
- Maintain up to date knowledge on all company systems such as Mainframe, Journey, Workday
- Two (2) years marketing/sales experience required, primarily in vacation ownership industry
