3D Generalist

CRAFTSMAN+

• Animate characters, props, environments, and cameras for real-time and cinematic experiences • Build cinematic sequences using Unreal Engine tools like Sequencer and Control Rig • Create expressive, believable character animation with strong fundamentals and performance • Animate camera moves and cinematic beats that support storytelling and flow • Use Cinema 4D for animation, layout, motion, or previs, and integrate work into Unreal Engine • Collaborate with creative, technical, and production teams to bring concepts to life • Iterate quickly based on feedback while maintaining quality and consistency • Optimize animated assets and sequences for real-time performance • Keep files clean, organized, and production-ready

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a 3D Generalist or Animator
  • Strong experience animating in Unreal Engine
  • Demonstrated ability to animate both characters and cinematic sequences
  • Proficiency in Cinema 4D or a comparable DCC tool
  • Solid understanding of animation fundamentals including timing, weight, posing, and performance
  • Experience animating cameras and working with sequenced timelines
  • Comfort working within real-time constraints and performance budgets
  • A portfolio or reel that clearly shows character and cinematic animation work
