Senior Visual & Motion Designer, In-App Content

• Create Video Project Templates & Motion Design Systems • Design and build high-quality project templates with flexible drop zones for video, images, text, and audio. • Partner closely with the Creative Director to translate visual direction into executable motion systems and production-ready assets. • Help define what “great” looks like in template usability, flexibility, and creative polish. • Set guidelines for motion design, hierarchy, timing, and animation curves across all content types. • Work with the Producer to scope, estimate, and plan animation work for monthly content drops. • Contribute to briefs, references, and production guidelines used by external designers and animators. • Ensure all templates meet product requirements, technical specs, and publishing standards. • Collaborate with product and engineering partners to push template capabilities and explore new features.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in motion design, video editing, or template-based content creation.
- Deep expertise in Adobe tools, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and related workflows.
- Proven experience building reusable templates, presets, or motion systems for creators or products.
- A portfolio showing strong design instincts across typography, layout, rhythm, and visual storytelling.
- Comfort working hands-on while influencing a broader ecosystem of contributors.
- Experience creating compelling video and/or templates with an authentic taste and an aesthetic that compels others.
