The Mental Health Professional is responsible for caring for and coordinating their assigned patients and families. Primary duties include regular liaison with members of the treatment team, psychosocial assessments, individual and family sessions, group therapy, safety planning, discharge planning, aftercare follow-up, and liaison with community agencies as needed etc. The Mental Health Professional reports to the Acute Psychiatric Hospital's Social Service Supervisor and is a member of the Social Service Department.
