Account Executive, Community Hospitals
BD
• Responsible for driving sales and services to new and existing customers in the Community Hospitals space • Maximize customer value and satisfaction by aligning complex product solutions and services with key customer initiatives • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers or potential influencers • Manage a longer sales cycle • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of how BD offerings match with customers' unique business needs • Serve as a leader in maintaining balance in all areas of the pipeline, ensuring consistent sustainable results • Proactively demonstrate to the customer the defined value of partnering with BD both pre- and post-sales • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities and develop plans for introducing new solutions through collaborative relationships • Negotiate and collaborate with the customers and colleagues to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- At least 3 years of proven success within a B2B sales role required
- Must have experience in Pharmacy, IT, Nursing, and/or C-suite
- Demonstrated success in managing long sales cycles from lead generation to close
- Strong interpersonal, oral, communication, organizational and planning skills
- Must live within territory and can travel up to 70% of the time
- Must possess and maintain a valid drivers’ license and a satisfactory driving record.
- 5 years of capital sales experience preferred (preferred qualification)
