Keep IT Simple
• Work within the Data Science team, helping to map information across a wide range of raw data to ultimately support the company's project decision-making. • Have a solid track record as a data analyst, with a minimum of 4 years in the role, especially with data governance. • Manipulate, identify, and classify large volumes of data to find patterns and generate valuable insights for decision-making. • Ability to catalog data, elicit data requirements, and handle non-functional requirements for data security and privacy. • Availability to travel for occasional in-person project meetings.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a data analyst.
- Map data by interacting with key users and other analysts across the organization.
- Identify and record metadata in a specific tool for data governance.
- Interact with data engineers to formalize rules for building pipelines based on requirements elicited by data scientists.
- Clean and organize data to discard irrelevant information.
- Analyze and interpret results using statistical tools and techniques.
- Identify trends and patterns in data sets.
- Identify new opportunities for process improvement.
- Extract datasets and standardize information, organizing databases.
- Gather requirements and map processes to organize data.
- Conduct satisfaction surveys regarding request fulfillment, as well as data mining, documentation, and data definitions.
- Assist in managing internal projects for the Data Analysis team.
- Provide support for data extraction and data visualization requests.
- Create and present reports to managers.
- Technical courses in relevant technologies or platforms; or a degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Fluent Portuguese and technical English for reading.
