Embodied Marketing

Role Description This position will support the Embodied Marketing ads team in writing all client copy & supporting with copy related audits and client support. This consists of writing ad copy, funnel copy, emails and conducting audits for all clients on individual roster. The ads team copywriter will have the ability to shift voices for the different clients on their roster and consistently produce highly converting copy for our clients. The copywriter is a key member of each client's Embodied Marketing team and will participate and conduct themselves in a proactive and supportive way, representing all Embodied Marketing values in their day to day work and execution. This person will be immersed in the world of copywriting as well as digital marketing so they are able to drive strategy and content and bring ideas to the table to improve their clients' overall messaging and copy conversion & effectiveness. Responsibilities - Consistently write ad copy that converts for your roster of client accounts. - Understand the strategy and the why behind different types of ad copy (registration, retargeting, application, lead gen, testimonial ads). - Write copy that converts for sales funnels such as opt-in pages, sales pages, and emails on an as needed basis for your client accounts. - Provide landing page and email sequence audits on an as needed basis, providing an audit report to the client of your findings and revisions to follow. - Turn around high quality ad copy tasks quickly. - Turn around thorough, high quality landing page and email sequence quickly. - Turn around high quality “from scratch” or rewritten landing page and email sequence copy quickly. - Thoroughly review new clients' creative direction & angles established by the Creative Manager to ensure high quality initial copy that perfectly aligns with the clients' brand, voice & tone. - Own and support with making sure the client is set up to stand out and convert in all their marketing copy. - Spend time reviewing a client's social media, videos and content to completely nail their voice when writing their copy. - Learn and integrate yourself into your ads team so you can easily write converting copy in your clients' voices. - Clear understanding of the client click through rate for clients on roster and an ability to be data oriented with creative work. - Devote 1 hour per week to researching new, innovative, creative ideas via social media platforms. - Attend & participate weekly meetings with the entire Creative team. - Participate as needed in the Monday ads team meeting with insights, questions and concerns related to the creative team and clients on your roster. - Proactively reach out as needed for collaboration and ideas with the creative team and/or ads team members on your client accounts. - Frequently collaborate with ads managers or the clients if our campaign is not hitting its goals. - Take initiative to jump in and provide suggestions or support on a campaign that is not hitting its goals. - Provide feedback to the creative manager on processes that are inefficient or ineffective. - Track your tasks & work and KPIs related to each every week. - Communicate updates and deadlines on all client accounts with ads managers and relevant team members. Results - Consistently meeting 95%+ of task (copy, audits, etc.) deadlines. - Clients on roster are maintaining a 1% and above link CTR. - Very minimal revisions requested by clients on all work submitted to them. - Zero grammatical errors and oversights in client copy work. - Clear demonstration of new ideas and angles being tested in all client accounts. - Increased client satisfaction, retention and referrals based on consistent high quality copywriting. - Messaging & copy that stands out from other ads being written consistently for our clients. - Collaboration and innovation being shown between the copywriter and ads manager. - Consistent ability to dig deep and take all copy & funnel page audits to the next level. - Collaboration with the graphic designer on an as needed basis to support with headlines and overall copy & creative cohesiveness. - Ability to quickly pivot messaging angles when a campaign isn't converting. - Ability to take client feedback around copy returned to them and get to the bottom of what it is they are looking for. - Internal weekly reports and individual KPIs are updated and submitted to the Creative Manager on a weekly basis. - Cohesive collaboration between creative team members and ads team members due to overcommunication from the copywriter. Requirements - 2+ years of digital marketing copywriting experience with solid examples to showcase. - Experience with digital marketing strategy and therefore has the ability to come up with messaging ideas and angles that will convert. - Specific experience writing ad copy, funnel copy and emails for digital marketing companies. - Specific experience writing marketing materials for clients selling online information products/services. - Ability to do research and ask specific questions to a client so they can get clear on messaging & voice. - Ability to talk & connect with clients and understand their products, messaging and ideal customer. - Ability to write copy and content that connects with audiences on an emotional level. - Ability to work with urgency and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing the quality of copywriting. - Excellent time management & prioritization and ability to manage multiple requests and tasks. - Extremely proactive and eager personality. - Highly organized and process driven. Compensation $60,000-$70,000 full-time salaried position.
