Role Description In your new role as an Engineering Manager at i6, you will oversee up to four engineering teams — each with their own Technical Lead. You will be pivotal in scaling i6’s engineering operations, driving technical excellence, accelerating delivery, and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational rigour. What you will do - Technical Delivery: - Overseeing architecture and infrastructure decisions for the Biosphere platforms with a specific focus on Cloud-agnostic designs to ensure portability and resilience across cloud providers (GCP/AWS). - Upholding engineering best practices—Code Quality, CI/CD, Testing, Performance, Observability and Security Standards. - Driving technical innovation. - Optimising delivery processes (e.g. Agile/Scrum/Kanban). - Establishing robust metrics, monitoring team performance, and driving continuous improvement. - Ensuring timely, high-quality releases with reliability and maintainability in mind. - Working with Tech Leads to implement patterns that minimize vendor lock-in, leveraging tools to maintain a provider-neutral ecosystem. - Augmenting engineering capability by using appropriate AI coding tools. - Leadership & Management: - Line-managing 3–4 Technical Leads. - Providing coaching, performance development, and mentorship. - Ensuring career growth through planning and regular feedback. - Aligning engineering roadmaps with business goals and product direction. - Contributing to the creation and implementation of transparent “career ladders” for the roles within Engineering. - Driving continuous improvement, by challenging the status quo and fostering a culture of innovation and product and technical ownership. - Key Stakeholder Relationship Development: - Collaborating with Product, Design, QA, and Customer Success to deliver impactful features. - Building a strong relationship with our enabling teams from Infrastructure, Data and Integrations, encouraging more direct collaboration between engineers and their engineering colleagues. - Culture: - Championing i6’s values: Improve, Influence, Impress, Innovation, Intelligence, Integrity. - Encouraging diversity, inclusion, collaboration, and a remote-first mindset. - Fostering cross-team collaboration and removing obstacles to delivery. Qualifications - Proven experience managing multiple engineering teams (preferably 3–4), including line-management of Technical Leads. - Bachelor’s degree - preferably in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar, but other degrees would be considered. - At least 10 years experience in the software development realm; at least 3 years leading teams. - Strong technical leadership in SaaS, Cloud-based platforms—ideally with real-time, data-driven applications and event-driven architectures. - Experience with Agile methodologies and delivery frameworks. - Strong grasp of architecture, and an ability to lead architectural decision making. - Solid understanding of engineering best practices: CI/CD, code reviews, test automation, observability, performance management, security; and a track record of implementing them. - Practical experience of embedding AI tools in engineering teams with measurable results. - Demonstrated ability to mentor and grow technical leaders. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions. - Experience with containerisation and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, preferably in GCP or AWS environments. - Demonstrated success in decomposing monolithic applications into asynchronous, event-based microservices that prioritize performance and fault tolerance. - Deep understanding of event-driven design patterns and their application in scaling real-time, data-intensive SaaS platforms. - Familiarity with message brokers and event streaming technologies and their operational trade-offs. Role Description The Quality and Mission Assurance organization has an opportunity for a talented professional to join our team onsite in a critical supplier engineering role within who will be involved in all aspects of planning and executing the production of our wide range of weapon systems, from tactical missiles to strategic defense products. - Provide technical knowledge & process capability expertise to improve supplier performance. - Involved in all phases of product life cycles, beginning with proposal development, new product development, advanced manufacturing initiatives, and continuing through production implementation. - Ensure technical data packages are complete and accurate and that the supplier technical performance meets the objectives of quality, cost, and schedule. - Drive Raytheon design requirements to improve manufacturing and quality capabilities of suppliers. - Initiate continuous and measurable design and process improvement of supplier hardware for affordability. This position is a Commodity Supplier Assurance Engineer and is remote. Visits to supplier facilities will be required and will require a home office be maintained. Candidates are expected to travel domestically up to 25-30% of the time, to include driving up to 300-mile radius with some flying as needed. Relocation assistance is not provided. Qualifications - Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. - Relevant experience is work in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, system engineering, manufacturing & quality systems, technical supplier management. - The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Requirements - Master’s Degree in the following Majors: Business Administration, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science. - Existing Secret Clearance. - Experience in Statement of Work (SOW) generation. - Experience with design and development of products that fall within the electrical or mechanical engineering discipline. - Experience performing supplier assessment. - Familiarity of Export and Import regulation. • Perform high quality design and consulting services as part of multidisciplined project teams for power and industrial projects. • Support preparation and review of geotechnical reports and calculations for conformity with project specifications. • Prepare and review specifications for subsurface investigations, deep foundations, ground improvement and more. • Advise power project developers to support new utility-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage, thermal, and other projects. • Evaluate new power and infrastructure projects independently to support financing. • Develop technical reports for applicable audiences. • Conduct occasional on-site quality surveillance of subsurface exploration programs and pile testing.

• Architect and develop Solana programs in Rust, using Anchor and/or native frameworks. • Maintain and extend M0’s existing issuance infrastructure, with a focus on Token-2022 extensions. • Optimize programs for compute unit usage, account size, and transaction packing. • Participate actively in code and design reviews. • Prepare codebases for third-party audits, including writing comprehensive tests, invariants, and fuzz harnesses.
