Role Description We are seeking an exceptional Pricing Analyst to support our new business and renewal pricing strategies. This role reports to the Pricing Lead and is critical to helping the team scale as the company grows. The Pricing Analyst owns account-level pricing for new and renewing clients while continuously improving pricing models and processes. Through this work, they play a key role in driving revenue across our book of business. This role is ideal for an analytical individual who is passionate about the healthcare industry and thrives in a fast-growing environment. Where you will work: Garner is headquartered in NYC, but this position is available for individuals who are comfortable with remote work and occasional travel to HQ. Responsibilities will include: - Provide account-specific pricing guidance and quotes for new clients as well as renewals with escalation of complex quotes. - Conduct analysis to identify and communicate the financial impact of pricing decisions. - Collaborate on improving Garner’s pricing models using projected and actual healthcare costs, including understanding the intersection between Garner’s pricing and the impacts on the financial plan. - Assist with building and monitoring mechanisms to understand performance of the book of business and intersection with the financial plan. - Assist in building processes and policies to support continually improving financial planning and pricing decisions. - Maintain pricing models while continually identifying opportunities for efficiencies. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree - 2 years of professional experience in an analytical function - Strong quantitative skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy - Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment - A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback. - Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets Requirements - Experience in health insurance industry (bonus experience/skillsets) Benefits - This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare. - The hourly rate for this role will be $35-$40/hr. - The contract will run through end of October. - Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. Role Description The Senior International Pricing Analyst is a senior individual contributor responsible for pricing complex international air and ocean freight bids. The role partners directly with US sales leadership on bid strategy and with Operations Managers to keep P&L goals in balance – supporting aggressive growth without compromising business sustainability. It leads major RFQs, indexed-rate bids, and project cargo opportunities, and brings a creative, solutions-oriented approach to how SCS wins and delivers freight. Qualifications - Several years of direct, hands-on experience pricing international air and ocean freight, including ownership of RFQs or bids. - Strong domestic carrier experience, particularly LTL airport pickup and delivery – an area where SCS is actively building capability. - Working knowledge of US air and ocean freight markets, including major gateways (JFK, ORD, MIA, LAX, DFW, and others), intermodal considerations, surcharge mechanics, and operational constraints that shape pricing. - Creative, artistic approach to solutions design – able to structure wins that standard rate sheets can't. - Strong technology orientation, including advanced Excel (pivots, lookups, scenario modeling), Power BI, and practical use of AI tools to accelerate analysis and communication. - Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain a pricing decision concisely to senior leaders, sales, and carrier partners. - Self-directed; manages competing deadlines independently. - Bachelor's degree welcomed; equivalent professional experience fully considered. Requirements - Preferred: indexed-rate bid experience (BAF mechanisms, WCI-based adders, floating-rate models); project cargo pricing; CargoWise (CW1) or equivalent TMS; Power Automate; vertical experience in automotive, retail, or pharma; cross-border US/Canada freight.
