Billing Analyst

Role Description In this role, you will assist the Finance Team with each month-end close, including but not limited to: - Creating invoices - Setting up rate tables - Submitting invoices to clients via various methods - Submitting month-end accruals - Credit memo creation/submission - Data entry and report creation - Miscellaneous tasks Specific responsibilities include: - Assist in month end close process - Create/maintain rate tables for clients/matters - Assist in submitting approximately 4,000 invoices to clients via email/eBilling systems (Legal Tracker, Tymetrx, etc.) - Submit accruals to clients via email/eBilling systems (Tracker, Tymetrix, etc.) - Matter/Client creation in D365/Quickbase/Qbill - Work with others on the Billing Team to ensure that all incoming billing questions are answered within 24 hours - Generate ad hoc financial reporting for the sales team, department heads, clients, etc. - Provide general administrative support and reporting to the Billing Team and Billing Manager - Miscellaneous tasks, as needed/assigned Qualifications - Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) - Excel in a fast paced deadline-oriented environment - Ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately - Extremely detail oriented and proactive - Highly organized, having excellent follow through, extremely reliable and responsible - Catch on quickly, are not afraid to ask questions or of learning something new - Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook - Knowledge of D365, Quickbase a plus - Knowledge of eBilling systems a plus (Tracker, Tymetrix, etc.) Requirements - Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table - Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting - Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends) Benefits - Comprehensive quality benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401k with company match - Company paid benefits including Life & AD&D, short and long-term disability, telemedicine, and other wellness plans - Generous Flexible PTO program and paid volunteer days - Participation in voluntary insurance plans including accident, hospitalization, and critical illness plans as well as pet insurance - Eligible to participate in an annual bonus or incentive program

Role Description We are seeking to hire a Billing Specialist I. This corporate level position is fully remote. Current Team members work in Eastern and Central Standard Time. Job Summary: - Prepare, review, and transmit claims using billing software. - Analyze explanation of benefits forms to review denial codes and make appropriate corrections. - Follow up on balances, unpaid claims, appeals & denials within the set timeframe. - Post payments and adjustments to accounts and maintain backup records. - Maintain patient confidentiality as per the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
