Director, Product Management – Data Exchange & Interoperability

Role Description The Director, Product Management – Data Exchange & Interoperability is responsible for the strategy, design, and execution of MacroHealth's data exchange solutions, known as Connect. - Own the vision and roadmap for Connect – MacroHealth's suite of interoperability and data exchange capabilities. - Define and drive the product strategy for Connect, ensuring alignment with MacroHealth's broader platform direction. - Lead the design of an industry-leading marketplace including APIs, EDI, claims data exchange pipelines, partner connectivity frameworks, and data governance capabilities. - Collaborate closely with Executive Leadership, Engineering, Market Development, Platform Product Management, Marketing, and Sales. - Serve as MacroHealth's internal and external thought leader on healthcare data exchange and connectivity strategy. Qualifications - 5+ years of Software Product Management experience, focused on healthcare data exchange, interoperability, or health IT integration. - Hands-on working knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards including HL7 v2/v3, FHIR (R4/R4B), X12/EDI transaction sets (837, 835, 270/271), and USCDI. - Working knowledge of the healthcare regulatory environment governing data exchange: CMS Interoperability and Prior Authorization Final Rule, ONC HTI-1 / 21st Century Cures, HIPAA, and information-blocking provisions. - Demonstrated experience translating complex regulatory and technical requirements into prioritized, commercially viable product roadmaps. - Strong experience working with payers, health plans, provider organizations, or network/connectivity platforms. - Proven track record of managing enterprise software products through the full lifecycle. - Experience working closely with Engineering and Architecture using Agile/Scrum delivery models in a SaaS or cloud-native environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field. Requirements - Innovative Product Management leader to drive the MacroHealth strategy into the future. - Define the key value proposition and positioning for Connect within the MacroHealth product portfolio. - Lead build vs. buy vs. partner analyses for new data exchange capabilities. - Continuously monitor the regulatory, standards, and competitive landscape. - Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle for Connect. - Define detailed product requirements where applicable. - Partner with Engineering and Architecture to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant data exchange patterns. - Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Policy teams to interpret interoperability regulations. - Actively engage with customers, prospects, health market partners, and ecosystem participants. - Work closely with Market Development, Sales, and Marketing to define go-to-market strategy for Connect offerings. - Actively leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate product discovery and delivery.
