Role Description Supervise the team responsible for ensuring products arrive to the correct locations timely as well as the accurate filing of Customer Profile entries. Key Duties and Responsibilities - Supervise, train, provide performance feedback, and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness. - Work with customers directly to manage escalations. - Manage, monitor, and maintain records on required documents; and resolve all issues to obtain customs clearance. - Understand customer’s business, requirements, and rate structure; issue invoices for services rendered and accrue costs in system. - Support internal/customer metrics. Additional Duties and Responsibilities - Make recommendations to continuously improve processes and team efficiency. Qualifications - 5 years’ import/export or logistics management environment experience. - Demonstrated supervisory skills with emphasis on guiding and developing a team, communications, and planning. - Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers. - Ability to think strategically with supporting analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity. - Excellent organizational skills and ability to function in a fast-paced, highly visible, and changing environment. - Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, autonomy, and initiative without daily interaction with management.
