Role Description We are looking for a Backend Engineer, AI Agents with strong expertise in Python, distributed backend systems, and autonomous agent infrastructure. You will play a key role in building the Traia.io AI Agent runtime, enabling AI agents to collaborate, execute workflows, interact with tools, and operate securely at scale. This role is focused on AI agents infrastructure and orchestration systems. - Architect and build the backend infrastructure powering the Traia.io AI Agent runtime. - Develop and maintain multi-agent orchestration systems and autonomous workflows. - Build infrastructure for agent runtimes, tool execution, memory systems, and task coordination. - Integrate MCP servers, tools, skills, and external execution environments. - Design secure deployment architectures for AI agents, including sandboxing and containerized runtimes. - Build scalable APIs, queues, event-driven systems, and real-time communication layers. - Collaborate with AI engineers and infrastructure teams to shape next-generation autonomous systems. Qualifications - Strong backend engineering experience with Python. - Experience building AI agents, autonomous workflows, orchestration systems, or multi-agent architectures. - Familiarity with agent runtimes such as OpenClaw, Hermes, or similar frameworks is a strong advantage. - Solid understanding of distributed systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and secure deployment architectures. - Experience with MCP servers, tool calling systems, RAG pipelines, or AI-enhanced execution frameworks. - Strong understanding of security, isolation, scalability, and performance tradeoffs in autonomous systems. - Experience designing backend systems for task execution, workflow orchestration, or event-driven architectures. Requirements - Web3 development experience, including blockchain integrations, wallets, smart contracts, or DeFi protocols. - Experience with on-chain trading systems or autonomous execution agents. - Familiarity with Safe wallets, EIP-712 signing, or account abstraction. - Experience deploying isolated agent environments or sandboxed runtimes. - Understanding of Kafka, NATS, or large-scale real-time infrastructure.

Role Description As a Principal Software Engineer, you will lead and implement technical decisions for the team while staying hands-on with coding, taking ownership of the main development work on critical features and systems. You will oversee and contribute to building high-quality software products and improving existing platforms. You will also use AI tools to improve development speed, help solve complex problems, and support better software delivery. You may work independently or collaborate with other engineers in similar roles. - Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of new software systems and enhancements to existing systems - Leading by example through hands-on coding, taking ownership of the main development work on critical features and core systems including contributing to problem definition and solution design in evolving requirements - Fostering a creative and cohesive unit capable of delivering complex software projects - Coordinating with scrum masters, project managers, and other software engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain cloud/web/mobile and desktop applications - Ensuring all software engineering projects are delivered on time and to the agreed quality standards - Utilizing AI tools where appropriate to support development, improve efficiency, and assist in debugging and validation of solutions - Continuously improving technical knowledge and staying updated with emerging tools, including AI-assisted development practices, and sharing them with the team - Maintaining high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits - Providing regular performance feedback, coaching, and career development to team members - Facilitating root cause analysis of system issues and supporting resolution of production-related concerns when needed Qualifications - Experience: 7+ years in software development, including 3+ years in leadership. - Technical Skills: Proficient in multiple languages (Java, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.), full-stack development, modern architectures (microservices, event-driven), CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Software Development Practices: Strong in OOP, functional programming, scripting, UX best practices, unit testing, TDD/BDD, Agile/Scrum, and database management (SQL & NoSQL), with exposure to AI-assisted development tools. - Leadership & Project Management: Proven track record in managing software products, leading teams, and delivering solutions with a focus on quality and timeliness. - Communication & Collaboration: Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and client management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Additional Skills: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), version control (Git), testing frameworks, software security, and adapting to fast-changing environments. • Design, develop and maintain backend components using Java and OOP principles • Build and optimize SQL queries over large datasets (Oracle / PostgreSQL) • Work with Data Lake environments and data integration flows • Contribute to microservices architectures (Spring Boot) • Collaborate in CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub Actions and Kubernetes • Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical decision‑making • Interact with functional teams in Transactional Regulatory Reporting contexts

• Teach live, remote classes and mentor students, answering questions and providing feedback on assignments and projects • Design routing models that respect HTTP request methods • Implement application middleware organized into modules • Implement functions following async programming best practices using TypeScript • Design the application database schema • Model the database using a document-based approach • Implement the database connection process and the use of database operations • Develop the application using Mongoose
