Title: Junior Accountant Location: Germany Berlin Job Description: Full-time Permanent employee The role Our international team is looking for a Junior Accountant (f/m/x) in supporting the financial operations and compliance across our German entities. Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, HGB) to ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely reconciliations, and reliable financial reporting. You combine your working knowledge of local tax regulations (e.g., VAT) to ensure correct postings and compliance. In this role you will - Record daily financial transactions including AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Accruals - Perform bank transaction postings and reconciliation includingcompany debit cards - Work closely together with our tax advisor to ensure correct and timely tax payments, such as CIT and VAT - Work closely with the local Accounting Managers to ensure reconciliation of IC balances - Manage cost approval for incoming invoices - Calculate and issue intercompany invoices according to transfer pricing policy - Assist inthemonth-end andyear-end financial close of the German entities according to German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS in close cooperation withthe Head of Finance - Challenge and improve the processes in your area of work and contribute to the automation and digitalization of our company - Collaborate on accounting/finance projectsas assigned by the Head of Finance Objectives If you are motivated by our mission to fight climate change and are excited by ecoligo’s unique business model, then this opportunity is for you.
