Title: Event Coordinator (Part-Time) Location: Philadelphia United States Part Time Hourly Operations Entry Level Job Description: Who We Are: Our story began in 2011 when a group of office workers at a major logistics company in Chicago had a lunch problem. Nearby options were limited and the team was spending too much time and money traveling to their favorite restaurants. They had an idea: bring Chicago's local restaurant culture inside the office to sell food. It was an immediate hit. When they discovered people from other companies sneaking into their office, they knew they were on to something and Fooda was born. Fooda pioneered the concept of rotating popup restaurants inside offices. Today, we operate in 45 cities with over 120 million meals served and continue to grow rapidly. What You'll Be Doing - Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: 1.) being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience, 2.) serve as back-up cashier at Fooda Cafés for team members who have time off, and 3.) getting restaurants onsite and access to the building - Gain competency with Fooda's technology and standard operations procedures - Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication - Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards - Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching - Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer - Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality - Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve - Critical hours are over lunch Tuesday - Thursday (10 am - 2 pm) but responsibilities may span 8am-4pm, depending on the market and need. 20-25 hours of part time work weekly. Who You Are: - You love building relationships with customers and enjoy customer service - You are friendly, high energy and love interacting with other people - You are savvy with technology and will be comfortable in a fast-paced start-up - You are resourceful, exhibit grace under pressure, and know you're capable of finding solutions - You are a strong communicator and self-starter - You are organized and detail oriented.
