Responsibilities The Personal Support Specialist assists residents with activities of daily living. The PSS is responsible for working with team members to ensure residents&rsquo; needs are met and to assist in providing a safe homelike environment for residents. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Residential Care Specialist 1 (RCS -I) or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) Certification required within 120 calendar days. 2. Placed on state registry within 120 calendar days. 3. Minimum six months of previous experience in a long term care setting, preferred.
