Kindsight
• Lead creative strategy: Define and drive the creative vision for our brand, ensuring it aligns with business goals and market trends. • Own the look and feel of tertiary design languages, including KindCon, the Kindsight community, and our research initiatives, ensuring they reflect and enhance our overarching brand identity. • Balance execution and resources at scale: Know when to take the lead on design execution, when to delegate to freelancers, and when to leverage AI to optimize workflows and scale production. • Leverage emerging technologies: Stay ahead of design trends and tools, adopting the best new approaches to simplify workflows, generate concepts, and optimize asset production. • Find ways to empower employees to use these tools effectively, fostering a culture of creativity and self-sufficiency. • Design execution: Create high-quality designs across various platforms, from digital ads and print assets to social collateral and keynote presentations, setting the standard for excellence. • Brand ownership: Oversee our visual identity, ensuring consistency and memorable experiences across all touchpoints. • Project management: Handle design asks/briefs as they come in and manage design projects from start to finish, meeting deadlines and staying within budget. In the case of printed materials, this includes the production/pre-press process and preparing files for print. • Collaborate across teams: Partner with marketing, product, and executive teams to align creative efforts with company objectives. • Employee enablement: Develop resources, tools, and processes that enable employees to become stewards of our brand, ensuring they can leverage approved AI tools to independently create on-brand materials with confidence. • Manage external designers: Provide direction and feedback to external creative resources, ensuring their work meets brand standards. • Present and communicate: Share creative concepts and updates with internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and elevate designs.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in graphic design, with a preference for candidates who have worked in B2B SaaS environments, and at least 3 years in a leadership or creative strategy role.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to enhance workflows, generate concepts, and optimize asset production (e.g., generative design tools, AI-assisted video editing), but also empower company-wide enablement of approved AI tools (e.g. Claude design templates).
- Advanced knowledge of design principles including typography, composition, color palettes, imagery, and illustration, plus demonstrable knowledge of accessibility design.
- Mastery in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Canva, and other design tools, including pre-press preparation.
- Proficiency or willingness to learn Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other motion design tools.
- Mastery in designing keynote-level decks in Google Slides and PowerPoint is a must.
- A strong portfolio showcasing expertise across various marketing formats—including digital (web, web ads, social), GTM campaigns, ebooks, keynote presentations, and print materials.
- Ability to think past the first idea and explore multiple pathways, creating unique and ownable creative campaigns that reach across all mediums and formats.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Asana experience is a plus.
- Experience managing external designers or creative vendors.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas clearly.
- Video editing experience is a plus!
