Role Description We are hiring two Immigration Paralegals with direct experience handling H-2A and/or H-2B filings. Candidates must have hands-on experience preparing and managing temporary labor certification applications and related immigration filings. Experience in either H-2A or H-2B is required; experience in both is strongly preferred. These roles will support high-volume seasonal workforce matters, and final team assignment (H-2A vs. H-2B focus) may vary depending on candidate experience and business needs. - Prepare, organize, and file temporary labor certification applications and visa petitions for H-2A and H-2B programs, including all required forms such as ETA 9142A/B, ETA 790/790A, G-28s, and supporting documentation. - Manage the full lifecycle of the case process from client intake and documentation collection to drafting, attorney review, final submission, and follow-up. - Coordinate closely with the assigned Associate Attorney to track deadlines, ensure timely filings, and flag any risk factors or delays in the case lifecycle. - Draft supporting legal documents, job orders, notices of posting, recruitment reports, and declarations based on client input and government requirements. - Ensure compliance with DOL, DHS, and USCIS standards, including seasonal deadlines and jurisdiction-specific recruitment steps. - Maintain and update case information and documentation in the firm’s immigration case management software (e.g., Docketwise, Salesforce, or other platforms). - Communicate professionally and regularly with clients regarding case status updates, next steps, and action items. - Identify potential issues or escalations and bring them to the attention of the manager and attorney as appropriate. - Support accurate tracking of filings and outcomes to contribute to firm-wide metrics and client reporting. - Ability to progress casework and work independently.
