What Work You Will be Responsible For: - Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. - Build impactful relationships with new and existing clients and maintain relationships with firm leadership. - Develop a working knowledge of the client's business, take responsibility for completing assigned tasks, and meet client deadlines. - Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and proactively apply new knowledge to client engagements. - Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm to coordinate efforts, share knowledge, and ensure efficient and effective delivery of tax services. - Mentor and coach junior team members. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required. - 1+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience. Requirements - Master’s Degree in Taxation or relevant field (preferred). - CPA, or parts passed towards completion, OR IRS Enrolled Agent Certification (preferred). - Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software (preferred).
