• Develop and strengthen executive-level relationships with key clients to support retention, growth, and long-term business objectives. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, align client priorities, and drive business growth across debit network solutions. • Create and execute short-term and long-term strategic plans to support merchant and acquirer growth within the debit payments market. • Share market insights, industry trends, and network value propositions with clients while serving as an escalation point for issue resolution. • Generate, review, and analyze business review data to identify performance trends, client opportunities, and areas for improvement. • Support merchants in improving authorization rates by identifying issues, coordinating solutions, and monitoring outcomes. • Submit and manage project requests to support completion within defined service level agreements (SLAs). • Partner with processor relations teams to manage transaction volumes, monitor issues, and support timely resolution.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in business development, relationship management, or account management within the payments industry supporting merchant or acquirer clients.
- 8+ years of experience in the debit payments industry working with debit networks, merchant acquiring, or related payment solutions.
- 8+ years of experience in managing large client accounts with accountability for net new sales, add-on sales commitments, contract renewals, and client retention.
- Experience analyzing financial and business performance data to support client reviews, identify trends, and inform growth strategies.
- Experience negotiating client contracts, pricing terms, and commercial agreements within a payments or financial services environment.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
