Role Description The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition team with candidate sourcing, screening, and scheduling of interviews, reference checks, job offers, and agency partner coordination and administration. Key Responsibilities - Provide support for Hourly Talent Acquisition process: - Screen resumes and application forms, source candidates for high-volume positions using applicant databases, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and conduct reference checks for final candidates. - Coordinate/Manage recruitment with agency partners for hourly roles – schedule interviews, follow up on open roles, draft offers. - Verify applicant documentation, create offers, and support the creation of announcements. - Prepare and post vacant positions within Give & Go on multiple hiring sites and on college hiring portals. - Coordinate and perform Human Resources orientation and onboarding for new hires and ensure completion of all onboarding documentation including employee file. - Maintain required TA process tracking and reporting. - Provide recommendations for new hourly talent sourcing markets/pools. - Perform administrative duties such as maintaining vacancy trackers regarding status/ATS, create reports and dashboards regarding talent acquisition to ensure continued improvement within recruitment activities. Qualifications - Completion of college diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. - Previous 3-year experience working within a Human Resources department. - Preferred Completion of university degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. - Preferred previous experience working within a Human Resources department within the manufacturing industry. - Experience with MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint). - Familiar with applicable employment legislation. - Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and project management skills. - Must be able to meet project deadlines, with good sense of urgency and follow through. - Must have the ability to work independently with little supervision. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
