Role Description The Regional Director Operations & Revenue Development fosters brand equity, best in class operations, and net unit growth by consulting and supporting assigned hotels focusing on revenue performance, guest satisfaction, and brand program and standards execution. Serving as the primary face of the brand, the position develops meaningful hotel owner and operator relationships through authentic engagements. The position is responsible for creating visible brand value for stakeholders, partnering with the hotel sales team to deliver booked business and viable sales leads by conducting in-market sales calls and marketing events. The position consults and educates hotel owner and operators on effective sales and operational best practices to influence revenue growth. You must be fluent in Spanish & English to be considered for this role. - Stakeholders: - Hotel Owners, Operators & Management Companies - Sonesta Stakeholders, Franchise Operations / Global Sales / Marketing Leadership - Success Measures: - Hotel RevPAR and Revenue Generation Index Growth - Reputation and Quality Assurance Performance - Owner/Operator Satisfaction & Retention This position will oversee a territory primarily based in Texas (1 off properties based in New Mexico and Oklahoma) of 40-45 properties. Though the role is remote/travel we do require the chosen candidate to be based in Texas. - Conducts on-property business performance consultative visits with owners/operators in assigned region. - Analyzes, develops, and delivers Business Performance 360 consultative reviews and business improvement recommendations. - Reviews and updates Property Improvement Plans. - Conducts periodic training on-property, at in-region Townhalls, and Brand Conferences related to brand programs, standards, and other assigned curriculum. - Monitors and follows-up with hotels regarding completion of action items such as PIP, RFPs, and other time sensitive obligations. - Assists hotel’s sales and marketing efforts by: - Conducting hotel market assessments and identifying sales opportunities. - Partnering with the hotel by making in-market sales calls to develop and deliver both booked and qualified sales lead opportunities. - Partners with the regional Franchise Services Manager regarding hotel performance and any escalated support issues. - Advocates the voice of the franchisee in balance with Sonesta objectives, to continuously improve brand tools, resources, strategies, and program development to provide an optimal owner/operator experience and results with the brand. - Engages in resolution of escalated owner/operator feedback regarding brand performance, brand satisfaction, and license agreement provisions. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree. - 10+ years professional multi-unit hotel operations and revenue generation leadership. - Bilingual - Spanish & English are required for this role. - An inspirational consultant: You are dynamic yet can adapt to all business learning levels and styles. Role Description The Crew Accommodations Agent at Corpay’s Airline Division – TA CONNECTIONS is responsible for managing and resolving all hotel and ground transportation booking activities for our Client’s Crew members. This role receives booking requirements mainly through our proprietary system, as well as inquiries through multiple channels, such as email, chat, and phone calls. The Agent is responsible for coordinating resolution with vendors by strictly following Standard Operations procedures. During Massive Irregular Operations, this role works for extended times and under pressure to ensure timely accommodations for crew members. - Book hotel accommodations for flight attendants, pilot crews, ad-hoc crews, and other non-crew airline employees. - Handle emergency relocations of crews that occur last minute with the Supervisor on shift. - Work closely and in sync with client’s Crew Scheduling and other relevant groups to satisfy all operational requirements and resolve situations that may affect crew members. - Communicate with internal departments and management to resolve problems and expedite work. - Monitor and confirm access to tools, systems, and defined resources needed to perform job duties as per Standard Operations Procedures, and report issues to shift supervisors. - Effectively utilize all tools and technology to process, track, and report transactions. - Accurately register in TA Connections System and applications all reservations information, agreements, approvals, and background information relevant for future research and troubleshooting. - Source for suitable and compliant hotel markets and cities where our airline clients don’t have contracted hotels or when contracted hotels are sold out. - Ensure the process to obtain approvals for non-compliant options is followed and recorded in the system as evidence. - Make payments to hotel and transportation vendors as per system settings (hotel’s contractual payment terms). - Maintain an environment of positivity, open and respectful communication, and professional behavior with a “CAN DO” attitude. - Report any incidents in a formal and professional way to your TA Connections supervisor on shift and/or to TA Connections HR partner. - Maintain impeccable attendance, punctuality, breaks, and adherence to Companies’ policies and Employee’s Handbooks and Guidelines. - Support Account Management Team, IT, Billing, and Commission Collections departments with data gathering activities, research, and issue troubleshooting. - Work on special projects and other duties as assigned.
