Senior Data Architect

• Design and maintain enterprise data architecture strategies and scalable data solutions • Lead architecture discussions with technical teams and business stakeholders • Evaluate existing systems and recommend modernization opportunities • Design logical and physical data models to support operational and analytical use cases • Lead data integration, transformation, and interoperability initiatives • Define standards and best practices for data management, governance, and architecture • Support enterprise data lake, warehouse, and reporting initiatives • Develop and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical standards • Ensure solutions align with security, scalability, and performance requirements • Collaborate with engineering teams on implementation and delivery strategies • Support data lifecycle management and long-term maintainability • Mentor technical teams and provide architecture guidance
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, solution architecture, or enterprise data management
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles and design methodologies
- Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration strategies
- Experience with enterprise data platforms and analytics ecosystems
- Knowledge of data governance and data lifecycle best practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting cross-functional technical initiatives
- Hands-on experience architecting and delivering solutions within Databricks environments
- Demonstrated expertise with Databricks Lakehouse architecture, workflows, and enterprise-scale implementation strategies
- Eligibility to meet federal contracting and client-specific work authorization requirements is required. Due to project requirements, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders).
