• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the retail sector. • Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events. • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers and business opportunities. • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and strategic partners. • Achieve quarterly and annual sales and revenue goals through proactive business development efforts. • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to support growth initiatives and outreach campaigns. • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and support business strategies. • Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers. • Track and maintain all customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities within HubSpot. • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition of new customers for ongoing account management. • Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote McCue products and services. • Maintain accurate business development records, reports, and performance metrics support additional business development and sales initiatives as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Professional Selling, Marketing, or Business is a plus.
  • Telephone sales experience preferred.
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot and ZoomInfo is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Must have practical sales experience, preferably in food/meat processing, industrial processing, personal protection equipment, or plant operating supplies.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees, managers, and outside parties.
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel required.
  • Some travel is required with overnight stays.
