• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations in Salesforce and/or Tableau to present program data. • Design and customize reports that meet business requirements using best practices and innovative approaches. • Pull, validate, and reconcile data from multiple systems and source files • Analyze actuals vs. forecast/prior period and highlight key variances and trends • Maintain reporting documentation, definitions, and process steps • Identify and implement opportunities to improve or automate manual reporting processes • Advocate for data visualization best practices, dashboard design and analytics storytelling. • Coordinate with program delivery teams to provide data for ad-hoc requests and to review client-facing program information for data accuracy. • Collaborate with software teams on dashboard development and integration of systems to provide maximum flexibility in data reporting and availability. • Work with software teams on database development and process improvements to optimize efficiency and streamline data processes. • Learn, operate, and integrate with company proprietary computer software and project management systems. • Ensure data quality, accuracy and integrity in all deliverables. • Manage project timelines, tracking billable hours as needed. • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, engineering, statistics, math, economics, or a related field preferred; candidates with relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered.
- 1+ years of experience in data analysis, data mining and data visualization
- Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Power BI or similar tools.
- Experience with Salesforce or comparable project management systems.
- Ability to present complex data in a clear, actionable and visually engaging manner.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, time management and follow-through
- Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
- Master's degree in data science, data analytics, business analytics, or a related field (GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred).
- Experience with JavaScript, Python, Power Automate, Redshift, or other data tools
- Knowledge of energy efficiency, environmental sciences, or sustainability.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in energy efficiency programs or other utility programs is a plus.

This position plays an active role in ongoing data operations, including data management, integration, and ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.
