Role Description We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Application Integrations & Internal Tools to design and implement scalable internal solutions, develop automation frameworks, and improve software delivery processes across enterprise environments. In this role, you will: - Collaborate closely with development, platform, and product teams to build production-grade integrations. - Enhance internal tooling and contribute to secure and scalable engineering practices. - Work with modern AI-assisted workflows and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and developer experience. Your main responsibilities will include: - Design, build, and maintain scalable internal application tooling and automation solutions. - Develop and extend integrations, APIs, and SaaS connectivity frameworks. - Integrate engineering and security best practices into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows. - Build and improve AI and LLM-assisted workflows, including automation, reasoning systems, and developer guidance tools. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve scalability, performance, and design challenges. - Create technical documentation, reports, and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer. - 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity-related roles. - 5+ years of experience working with Python and Golang. - Experience with AWS and modern software delivery practices such as Infrastructure as Code, containers, and service-oriented architectures. - Experience working with Linux, Windows, macOS, and networking fundamentals. - Good understanding of application security concepts and secure development practices. - Ability to analyze complex systems, identify issues, and build scalable solutions. - Advanced English level for daily communication. Requirements - Nice to Have: - Experience with Node.js and React. - Experience working with AI/LLM-assisted engineering workflows. - Familiarity with CI/CD integrations and SaaS platform integrations. • As Senior PM for Developer Ecosystems, you'll play a critical role in driving our ecosystem strategy across four key areas: • Ecosystem Strategy & Vision — Working in close partnership with Boulevard's Partnerships team, you'll help define the ecosystem strategy — who we build for, where we play, and how we grow. • Partner & Integration Experience — You'll own Boulevard's integration portfolio end-to-end — from the 1st party integrations that businesses depend on today (Shopify, QuickBooks, etc) to the developer platform and partnerships that expand what Boulevard can deliver tomorrow. • MCP & AI Connectivity — Own Boulevard's MCP strategy — how external AI agents and systems interact with Boulevard on behalf of businesses and clients. • Define and Measure Success — Define what good looks like — developer adoption, integration usage, partner-driven revenue impact — and use those signals to continuously define and refine the vision and roadmap.

• Code, test, debug, deliver and maintain production software systems for new and existing product features • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and/or stakeholders throughout the development cycle to ensure smooth releases • Work with your teammates and project manager to communicate technical requirements to stakeholders and solve technical problems in a scalable and realistic way • Mentor junior and new team members by helping them understand team expectations, providing technical guidance, sharing knowledge, and engaging in pair programming sessions • Participate in planning by identifying major tasks and breaking down, estimating, and planning work • Write comprehensive tests during various stages of the development cycle, ensuring code is functioning as expected • Review code for others to maintain high code quality, knowledge share within the team, and support creating a safe environment of giving and receiving feedback • Generate and review documentation on code processes to ensure scalability • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in development • Be available for on-call rotational work to ensure uninterrupted support and resolve emergencies
