Role Description We are looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join BSI’s People team, supporting the India region. This role will provide specialist employee relations support across a complex and evolving business environment, helping ensure consistent, compliant, and employee-centric outcomes across a wide range of people matters. You will support investigations, case management, policy implementation, and employee relations initiatives, while partnering closely with People Operations, People Partners, and wider HR teams. The role combines hands-on case management with operational improvement and stakeholder support, helping strengthen employee experience, reduce risk, and drive consistency across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong employee relations experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment and partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions. Key Responsibilities - Support and manage employee relations cases across India, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance matters, reorganisations, mutual separations, and investigations. - Partner with stakeholders to ensure fair, compliant, and well-managed employee relations processes and outcomes. - Conduct or support investigations, including note taking, documentation, report writing, and maintaining accurate case records. - Deliver and support employee relations training, education, and capability-building initiatives for managers and People teams. - Work closely with People Operations and People Partnering teams to ensure awareness and understanding of employment law developments and ER best practice. - Support the development and maintenance of employee relations documentation, policies, templates, and agreements. - Monitor and analyse employee relations trends and case data to identify opportunities for improvement and risk reduction. - Support the implementation of initiatives such as Early Resolution Frameworks and continuous improvement programmes. - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through AI and digitalisation across ER administration and case management activities. - Contribute to regional and global employee relations initiatives as part of the wider ER team. Qualifications - Strong understanding of India employment law, including the Shops & Establishments Act and Industrial Disputes Act. - Experience managing employee relations cases within a complex business environment. - Ability to manage investigations, case documentation, and stakeholder communication effectively. - Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with excellent attention to detail. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing capability. - Confident communication skills with the ability to adapt approach to different audiences. - Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a changing environment. - Growth mindset with a proactive and solutions-focused approach. Requirements - Experience or exposure to employee relations matters across SEA or ANZ jurisdictions. - Experience working within a matrixed or multinational organisation. - Exposure to HR operations or broader People team environments. - Degree or professional qualification in HR, Employment Law, or a related discipline. Role Description The Payroll & HR Operations Lead is a critical member of the Human Resources team, responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, employee lifecycle administration, and HR system integrity across multiple locations. This role ensures payroll accuracy, regulatory compliance with applicable state and federal employment laws, and serves as the primary point of contact for centers, leadership, and employees on all payroll and HR operational matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. They possess a deep understanding of payroll processes, employment regulations, and HR best practices, and can exercise sound judgment while maintaining strict confidentiality.
