Role Description We Don't Need a Reporter. We Need a Finance Leader Who Helps Us Decide Where to Bet Next. Most finance people tell you what already happened. You'll tell us what to do next — and own the financial strategy across multiple brands and a SaaS company. This is not a traditional finance reporting role. This is a builder role for someone who wants to operate as a Fractional CFO across an entire portfolio of businesses. - Sit at the right hand of the CEO as a strategic thought partner - Own financial strategy across multiple brands and EcomProfits - Drive decisions on capital allocation, scaling, pricing, and profitability - Manage and develop the Finance Manager (your direct report) - Build the financial backbone that allows us to scale to multi 9-figures without losing control of the numbers What You'll Own - Strategic Finance & FP&A - Own financial strategy across all business units (multiple DTC brands + SaaS) - Build and maintain advanced financial models — actuals reporting, forecasting, scenario planning, cash flow projections - Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable decisions for the CEO and leadership - Prepare investor-ready materials and supporting analysis as needed - Unit Economics & Performance - Analyze CAC, LTV, contribution margin, operating margin, and blended ROAS across brands - Deliver weekly and monthly performance insights that drive real decisions - Identify margin leaks, inefficient spend, and cost optimization opportunities before they become problems - Capital & Cash Flow - Manage cash flow planning across multiple entities - Drive capital allocation decisions — where to invest, where to cut, where to scale - Implement financial reporting structures that give leadership a real-time view of the business - Leadership & Operations - Manage and develop the Finance Manager — ensuring strong execution of accounting operations and reporting - Support pricing, margin, and operational efficiency initiatives across departments - Partner with department leads to align financial reality with operational decisions Qualifications - 5–10+ years in finance with proven leadership experience - Strong e-commerce / DTC experience — non-negotiable. ROLE SUMMARY Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, the Director, Workday Systems will manage efforts to support members of the Talent and Finance Departments with system configuration, metric monitoring, reporting, and analytics tied to the HR Information System (HRIS), Workday. The Director is responsible for leading a cross-functional group of subject matter experts through system improvements, maintenance, and defect management. They will also work collaboratively to support change management efforts when new features or updates are released to Alliance staff members. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Project Management - Provide the vision to maintain the current Workday features as well as identify opportunities for future modifications and enhancements grounded in best practices; - Maintain a roadmap of system enhancements and adoption items, and reprioritize when necessary; - Offer domain expertise in Workday functionality and system design; - Partner with Talent, Finance, and Operations team leaders to improve current processes, and promote standardization, efficiency, and standard methodologies; - Help define and coordinate vendor-offered training or turnkey information when the platform updates; - Work with Functional team leads to ensure documentation of existing processes related to Workday are centrally located and accessible. Role Description Responsible for the preparation and analysis of investment-related accounting and reporting in conjunction with outside investment managers, the internal investment team, and third-party accounting services.
