• Architect, develop, and test production grade Python APIs for media products • Support data pipelines, background jobs, and distributed systems that interact with AI models • Work with technical stakeholders to design scalable systems for easy development, deployment, and monitoring of systems • Create implementation plans teams can work against to achieve product goals • Design and robust systems for long running processes • Ensure errors are routed for proper triaging • Design/maintain high quality automated tests and manual stress/quality testing frameworks for AI systems • Consider data governance and cyber security practices, ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance with regulations

• Design, build, and operate backend services in PHP and Go that power the guest portal and direct sales site builder. • Drive the extraction of services out of our monolith, defining clean boundaries, ownership, and migration paths. • Collaborate closely with Product and Design to shape and ship features that move the needle for direct bookings. • Design and ship APIs built for agentic interfaces — making our guest-facing domain consumable by AI agents and automated workflows. • Improve page speed and end-to-end performance, working closely with frontend peers since conversion depends on it. • Contribute to high-level architectural decisions and help us move quickly without accumulating regret. • Leverage AI to accelerate code delivery — we provide a Claude Team Premium subscription and expect engineers to use it well.

• Implement and maintain scalable features using Node.js and React. • Collaborate closely with product managers and other developers to clarify requirements and deliver solutions. • Ensure code quality through best practices like testing, code reviews, and documentation. • Investigate and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and edge cases in both frontend and backend systems. • Take ownership of technical decisions and actively contribute to architectural discussions. • Work independently and efficiently in a remote environment with partial time zone overlap (EST).
