Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack – Node.JS, React.JS, AWS

• Implement and maintain scalable features using Node.js and React. • Collaborate closely with product managers and other developers to clarify requirements and deliver solutions. • Ensure code quality through best practices like testing, code reviews, and documentation. • Investigate and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and edge cases in both frontend and backend systems. • Take ownership of technical decisions and actively contribute to architectural discussions. • Work independently and efficiently in a remote environment with partial time zone overlap (EST).

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Proven expertise in Node.js for backend development in production environments
  • Hands-on experience with React or Next.js for frontend development
  • Proficiency in PHP, including experience with WordPress
  • Solid experience with AWS services , including EC2, Lambda Functions, API Gateway, SQS, and Elastic Beanstalk
  • Experience managing AWS Amplify, CloudWatch, CloudFront, and application monitoring
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and MySQL
  • Experience in managing and troubleshooting with Sentry (preferred) or other application monitoring software
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Strapi, Netlify, Contenfull, or Sanity
  • Proven experience with AI tools (i.e. Claude Code)
  • Comfortable working in a remote, collaborative Agile team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated with high standards of accountability
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and technical curiosity.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows (bonus)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture (bonus)
  • Experience with version control (GitHub), Jira, and cloud infrastructure management (bonus)
