Senior Project Manager

• Own end-to-end delivery of client engagements — scope, schedule, budget, and quality • Partner with clients and internal leads to define goals, deliverables, and success criteria • Build and maintain project plans, RAID logs, and status reporting cadences that keep stakeholders informed and aligned • Run scrum ceremonies (planning, standups, retros) and keep design/engineering teams operating smoothly • Manage scope changes, surface trade-offs early, and lead difficult conversations with clients when timelines or priorities shift • Identify and mitigate delivery risks before they become blockers • Coordinate dependencies across multiple workstreams and resource allocation across the team • Track project health metrics (margin, utilization, velocity, on-time delivery) and report to leadership • Report directly to Head of Product. • Help refine our delivery playbook • Champion process improvements that make our team more efficient and our clients more confident

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years managing software, design, or digital product projects — ideally in an agency or consultancy setting
  • Proven track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder engagements on time and on budget
  • Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to manage expectations, navigate conflict, and build long-term trust
  • Comfortable translating between technical and non-technical audiences
  • Skilled at managing competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects
  • Deep experience with Agile/Scrum and adaptable to hybrid waterfall when projects call for it
  • Strong understanding of design and development workflows and what good handoff looks like between disciplines
  • Proficiency with Linear (what we use) or Jira, plus comfort in tools like Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace
  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification a plus but not required
  • Calm under pressure and energized by ambiguity

Role Description GovCIO is currently hiring a Senior IT Project Manager to lead business intelligence and automation modernization for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG). You will drive the migration of legacy systems to a modern data analytics stack, while overseeing enterprise Power Platform deployment. This position will be located within the United States and will be a full remote position with up to 25% travel. As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will serve as the primary driver for planning and delivering mission-critical IT projects that enhance Coast Guard operations. CLC represents approximately 5,000 children annually in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island, providing holistic and zealous representation and support in the Court, the community and the legislature. CLC’s mission is to empower our clients, prevent trauma and promote equity and wellbeing. Under the leadership of the Borough Directors and Deputy ED, the SIJS Project Trial Supervisor will provide legal representation to applicants for SIJS relief, refer clients to organizations providing legal representation in Immigration proceedings, collaborate with other legal service providers working on similar issues, and, together with the Paralegal Supervisor, supervise paralegals helping to prepare clients and documents for hearings.
