• You will directly work with Stephan who has built automated workflows all his life. • Develop and implement a communication strategy towards our global community of talents, users, partners, investors. • Fully automate influencer and affiliate identification, negotiations, and payments. • Develop strategies to conquer local markets, implement penetration test in one-week sprints and measure results. • Overall, building a system that tracks and measures results will be a core OKR of this job. • Use AI tools (Claude Code, Design, Cowork, etc.) to fully automate all our day-to-day processes and everything that we do at least once a month. • We are looking for people that are willing to get their hands dirty. This is not a strategic role!

Role Description The purpose of this role is to drive Applause's inbound pipeline and live brand presence by owning paid media programs across Google, Meta, and LinkedIn. This role is responsible for contributing to new sales pipeline growth through efficient ad spend, steady MQL flow, and high-impact event execution that converts audience into action. This role will also support our event motion and work directly with our Events Marketing Manager to coordinate and execute our ~50+ event calendar. We're looking for a motivated, detail-obsessed Demand Generation & Events Marketing Coordinator to join Applause's marketing team. You'll own our paid digital ad programs and play a critical supporting role in our events strategy, ensuring leads are flowing, spend is efficient, and every event we attend or host is flawlessly executed. You'll partner closely with Sales to ensure inbound lead quality meets our standards and collaborate with the broader marketing team to keep the pipeline healthy and growing. Responsibilities: - Paid Media & Demand Generation - Own day-to-day management of paid programs across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and LinkedIn Campaign Manager — including campaign setup, audience targeting, budget pacing, and creative rotation. - Monitor and optimize campaigns weekly to improve CAC, CPL, and ROAS; surface performance trends and recommendations to the Director of Marketing. - Report on funnel metrics weekly and monthly: impressions, clicks, CPL, MQL volume, and lead-to-SQL conversion. - Stay current on paid media best practices, platform updates, and competitive benchmarks to keep Applause's programs sharp. - Events Coordination & Execution - Lead end-to-end planning and execution of smaller events (small tradeshows, etc.) with full ownership of logistics, timelines, and deliverables; support the Events Marketing Manager on tier-1 and tier-2 events. - Coordinate pre-event promotional campaigns (emails, social posts, paid boosts) and maintain the events calendar, prep documents, and post-event recap templates in Asana and Google Drive. - Partner with Sales and Partnerships to define post-event lead follow-up workflows and ensure CRM attribution is accurate in HubSpot. - Track event ROI metrics, including leads captured, meetings booked, pipeline generated, and cost-per-lead by event.
