Role Description As a Technical Program Manager within User Identity Services (UIS), you will serve as a domain leader responsible for delivering large-scale, cross-organizational initiatives that power critical identity capabilities across the enterprise. What you’ll do - Own portfolio-level delivery and domain strategy for Core Identity Domain under User Identity Services, partnering with Product and Engineering to define roadmaps, multi-year sequencing, and investment tradeoffs. - Lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams with minimal oversight, ensuring predictable, scalable, and high-quality execution. - Serve as a domain leader for Core Identity platforms, integrations, and inter-system communication, with strong architectural literacy across microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven environments. - Apply deep domain knowledge in Identity, User Accounts, and User Profiles, understanding end-to-end customer flows, system touchpoints, and business impact across the lifecycle. - Review and interpret technical designs and system architectures to assess feasibility, risks, scalability, and integration tradeoffs. - Drive dependency management, product demos, release readiness, capacity planning, and delivery forecasting across complex environments. - Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks across cross-functional teams and operational areas. - Lead production readiness, incident coordination, breaking-change management, and governance alignment. - Provide executive stakeholders with clear decision frameworks, financial and schedule tradeoffs, and data-backed recommendations. - Act as Product Owner for technical initiatives when needed and continuously improve execution standards and delivery governance. This role operates at both strategic and tactical levels, shaping architectural direction while ensuring disciplined execution across mission-critical identity systems. This is an individual contributor leadership role with significant cross-functional influence. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or related technical leadership roles. - Experience leading cross-functional programs across distributed systems, microservices, or enterprise platforms. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience operating in Agile and/or SAFe environments, including PI Planning and release management. - Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-team initiatives with high business impact. - Experience managing dependencies across multiple engineering teams and organizations. - Proven ability to influence without authority and communicate effectively with engineering leaders and executives. - Experience with financial risk management, cost tradeoffs, and roadmap investment planning. - Experience supporting incident response, release coordination, and operational readiness processes. - Experience leveraging automation and AI-powered tools to improve planning, documentation, and program execution. - Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
